  • Help students understand the marketing, financial and human resource management functions and compare different management techniques and business typologies
  • Contextualise management theory through real-world examples drawn from start-ups, SMEs, corporates and the H-FARM innovation ecosystem
  • Provide a supportive and well-scaffolded learning experience for first-year students, many of whom are approaching management studies for the first time, in a multicultural classroom with students from different programmes
  • Design, deliver and mark assessments (two in-class mid-term tests and a literature review), providing timely, developmental formative and summative feedback
  • Support students in developing academic skills, including research, use of literature, critical reading and academic writing
  • Collaborate with programme leaders and colleagues to ensure integration of learning across modules, and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching materials and assessment methods
