We are seeking an experienced and passionate lecturer to teach the course Neural Networks within our Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science.
The course aims to provide students with both the theoretical foundations and practical skills required to design, implement, and evaluate modern neural network architectures. Students will explore the evolution of neural networks, develop hands-on experience with deep learning models, and critically examine current research topics in the field. The successful candidate will guide students to:
- Understand the history, evolution, architecture, and applications of neural networks.
- Develop proficiency in designing and implementing multilayer perceptron (MLP) networks.
- Design, train, and deploy convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and recurrent neural networks (RNNs).
- Apply neural network techniques to real-world business and technological challenges.
The position is a collaboration based at the H-FARM Campus in Roncade (TV), Italy.
Qualifications & Experience
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated teaching experience at university level and/or significant industry experience in AI and machine learning.
- Strong expertise in neural networks and deep learning methodologies.
- Experience with Python and leading machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- B2/C1 level of English (teaching language)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions.
- Prepare teaching materials and learning resources.
- Design and grade assessments in line with programme requirements.
- Support students through office hours and academic guidance.
- Participate in assessment moderation and quality assurance processes when required.
